The Dalai Lama has said that one way to manage the tremendous pain of a huge loss is to understand that we now have a responsibility to fulfil that person’s wishes. “The closer connection you have to someone, the more responsibility you have to fulfil that person’s wish.” Fulfilling their wish can give inner strength and determination.

We are so grateful to have our father’s values so deeply instilled in us that we know how to go about doing just that. This scholarship is just the first step of many ….

To commemorate the late Gregory Kersten, Section President and Editor in Chief of the GDN Journal, the informs Section on Group Decision and Negotiation established the annual “Gregory Kersten GDN Journal Best Paper Award” for outstanding papers published in the GDN journal.
